We are seeking a detailed oriented accounting professional to support a broad range of financial functions related to real estate investments and operational accounting.  This role requires strong analytical skills related to financial reporting and the ability to manage complex data across multiple entities. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of financial reports in compliance with company policies and Investment accounting
• Thorough review of financial packages from third-party management companies
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Responsible for analyzing, researching, interpreting, and reporting financial issues
• Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts and property subledgers
• Ensure financial packages are completed and delivered in a timely and accurate manner
• Resolve issues and document response to all review comments generated  
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment  
• Requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and an openness to new ideas and procedures

Qualifications

• 2 years or more work experience
• Real Estate experience preferred; Construction Experience a plus
• Ability to solve problems, think independently, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi) and Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA or CPA candidate preferred

Compensation Package:

Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level of the successful candidate. Interviews may be conducted virtually, telephonically or in-office.
